We arrived near close time on a Monday night. The bartender was brilliant, friendly in a genuine way, and we enjoyed sampling some Canberra Distillery Musk liqueur. A unique drop that had us wondering how it could be used in a cocktail. Our vote was to sip it neat 😍 The ambience was wonderful and next time I’ll make sure to be there when their live music is on. 10/10

Wow! Perfect place for us. We had calamari, beet carpaccio, and tuna tartare, enjoyed with a bottle of Fume Blanc. Service was wonderful, perfect outdoor seat, food that was superb, and terrific music! I highly recommend Queenies.

Our ‘ABC’ dinner group thoroughly enjoyed our ‘Q’ evening in a private dining room at Queenies. All the food ordered was very good. Some meals were smaller than others so a good idea to check for side dish recommendations appropriate for each meal. The crispy eggplant chips were my favourite and I’d go back just for a plate on my own that I don’t have to share. We found the staff extremely pleasant and it was lovely having light live jazz music in the background. The bar area looks impressive and my lychee ‘laras’ gin cocktail was delicious. Parking can be an issue and you may have to find a spot a few streets away.

We came in for a drink and dessert. The menu was impressive. Excited to see everything on the food menu is gluten free. Service was attentive and friendly. Couldn't ask for more. We'll be back.

Our favourite local - this is a must for us to show off to friends who are visiting Canberra. Food is amazing, we love the eggplant fries and Bangkok fried chicken. Entire menu is gluten free (though we do miss the warm bread and honey butter 😢). New management are lovely and attentive, and the revamp of the restaurant has been nicely done.

My friend and I were looking for a good venue for our last get together of the year, and after perusing the menus of various bars I settled on Queenies. I could not believe that the entire menu was gluten free. I’ve never had so much choice! Plus they were happy to make any of the cocktails as mocktails, as I was driving. We had a lovely table to ourselves, with a great view of the bar and the perfect distance from the live music. But they had actually managed the volume of the music perfectly so you could still chat to each other while listening. The live music was stunning. A mix of jazz, and some classical pieces composed by the cellist. With the live music, great food and very friendly staff, the atmosphere was incredible as a result. We were entirely won over within moments of arriving. I noted some other commenters had mentioned troubles with parking, but there were a few secure car parks within short walking distance. So we didn’t find it too bad.

Had New Year Eve dinner, with jazz. Sat outside in the 'garden', great food, excellent cocktails. Some unnecessary confusion on arrival regarding the reservation, but eventually sorted. As the booking was digital, including a qr code, I did not expect to see a handwritten clipboard that was missing our details.
